Ok - here is the deal: this case is really great if you need to carry your iPad with some other minor items (like the charger, or some pens, etc). But it is not good if you are carrying other items too - like a backpack or a shoulder bag, or any other type of bag. The case holds the ipad well and protects it against anything but severe events - like getting run over. The case is well constructed and bulges so you don't put pressure on the iPad from items in the bag. Which makes it good - but is also the bags liability.If you are carrying your iPad all by itself and need some extra carrying capacity beyond your pockets, but not so much as to need a bag, then this is a super option. If you are carrying another bag or another briefcase, then this is just another bulky thing to carry. I recommend a good sleeve or a cover and then just slip it in your bag.
