Yes. It is overpriced. I search online and bought it for about $20 shipped. I can deal with that.I purchased a Belkin and M-edge case along with it (Kindle Touch size). At first, the Sony was my least favorite because it is plain and black. No velvety inside like Belkin. No band clasp like M-Edge. But it grew on me. I bought the PRS-T1 because it was light, slim and works great one handed. This layer-laminated case is great for that. Adds the least weight and bulk than any other reader. I can read one handled with the cover flipped back. IF you're left handed, the Sony logo on the back will be upside down, but you can mount it 'upside down', and have the cover on the right. The cover surprisingly stays closed without a clasp. Don't know how, but it's great, less bulk. The reader snaps in, so it keeps it's good lucks with no straps on the corners. I've thought about decorating with contact paper, but I don't know if it'd work with the textures. Other than that, it slips right into my purse, stays closed and clean. I don't think it can be improved except with some color. For those that say it's cheap: I don't know how canvas covered cardboard (which other covers seem to be) or bonded leather is 'expensive looking'. I think it's feels nice and sleek like a Moleskine notebook.
