I'm reasonably happy with this product. It gives me what I was looking for, namely, a lightweight carrying case for the kindle that offers good protection against damage while traveling. My only disappointment was that the product is bigger than it has to be by about a half an inch all the way around. I don't think this affects the performance, and it does offer some leeway for adding a sleeve to the kindle, but I would have preferred something that was as sleek as possible. My guess is they are recycling an older case made for an earlier kindle or some other product, but I don't really know.But what motivated me to write this review was a follow up email I received from the company. Here is an excerpt from that email (between the /***/'s):/****************************Excerpt*******************************/As a "Thank You!" gift for leaving a short positive product review and clicking the "Liked" icon below the product title towards the top of the product page (of course, only if you feel it is deserved), we would like to offer you $2.00 reimbursement on your purchase./*******************************************************************/Personally, I don't think this sort of thing should be allowed by Amazon sellers. I rely heavily on the customer reviews and a tactic like this is bound to skew the results in favor of a product. So I'm posting it as part of this review so other customers will know that the reviews here may be unfairly biased in favor of the product.Still, it is a good product, in my opinion.
