i have a samsung galaxy tab 7 inches and i got this so my kid can play or watch movies in the back seat, the unit itself holds the tablet very well and firm, but i would have to say that in my case i dont know if its the seat in my car that does not hold the unit or what because the tablet is always in an angle that u frankly cant see very well, i have a toyota rav4, i will try it in another car or pickup or suv to see the outcome!!! but overall the unit is very high end and easy to install.
