I like and love that it offers two levels of brightness. It clips on well and doesn't slip. I have a rubber cover over my Kindle so that might be why it doesn't slip. I haven't tried it without my case. It does take 3 batteries which I think is a lot and adds a lot of weight to the Kindle. The clip in part is bulky but you have to weigh your options; don't read when it's dark or hold something that's a little heavy and bulky. Overall, I would buy this again.
