When I purchased my Sony e-reader, I thought, fine (*rolling eyes)I'll just plug the thing into my computer every time I need to charge it. Which was kind of a pain, because I'd have to boot up my computer, and change its settings so it wouldn't go to sleep, thereby nulling the USB's ability to charge my e-Reader. I went along like this for about a year, because I didn't want to spend the extra money on a wall charger (yes, I can be a cheapskate sometimes), until one day my USB couldn't charge my e-Reader!I left the e-Reader plugged into my laptop over night, my laptop didn't go to sleep, and in the morning, I still couldn't turn it on. I thought I did something wrong, but upon trying again during the day, still dead e-Reader after 4 hours. I had let the Reader completely die, and there was no turning it back on. The only solution, use a wall charger.After about 2 hours with the wall charger, the e-Reader came to life (much to my relief, I was thinking the thing might have just died permanently). So, if your reader runs completely out of charge, you need a wall charger to revive it. This one works quickly (about two hours faster than using the USB cord, I was averaging 4 hrs to charge my e-Reader via USB, and only 2 hrs on the wall charger...depending on how far the battery was low).This company shipped quickly, I ordered on a Saturday night, and it came by Monday...wrapped securely in it's little box. I would definitely buy from this company again, and the charger works great.
