What a fun product! I love my iPad and searched for quite a while for a product like this!The product itself is VERY sturdy! I was surprised at how heavy the base is. The entire unit feels solid and I am comfortable putting my iPad on it. The iPad holder itself is slightly "big" for the iPad 2. I am still comfortable putting my iPad on it as it comes in snug around the iPad but the actual thickness of the corners seems to be big enough for other products to fit. (I'm not sure if that makes sense- think of it like this- the X of the holder is adjustable so it can come in nice and snug around the iPad. However, the padded "clips" that come up and around the front of the iPad are deeper than they would need to be for the iPad 2 and 3.) Again, this product was made to be used for other items as well (and the X portion is adjustable so I think it would fit many things). The "clips" are 1 inch thick on the outside and just over 1.5 centimeters on the inside due to the padding.Putting the stand together is pretty common sense which is good because the instructions are a little lacking.(i.e. the first sentence is "Floor stand for pad is a kind of holder which mainly for the purpose of making people to use their Pad more conveniently and flexibly." The actual instructions are just pictures. Again- don't let this deter you as putting it together is common sense.At first I was concerned that the adjustable portion of the stand was "weak", in that when I extended it, it would slide back down. There is an "L" tool included however that allows you to tighten the plastic around the extender. Problem fixed :) (The instructions don't include a picture of this).MEASUREMENTS-The base is 5 inches deep and 11 inches wide.The first section of the stand is 16 inches. The extender gives you another 14 inches.The bendable section is 24 inches- 18 of which is bendable.If the unit was measured straight from floor up it would be 59-60 inches tall.
