I bought this light on a whim for my husband since I was buying him a Kindle 2. Well, I "tested" his Kindle 2 with the light late at night in a completely darkened room and found the light to work marvelously well. It was easy to direct the light. The lighting was just enough to light the e-reader without waking him up. It's also very lightweight. And the light didn't dim after just a couple of hours of use. Another thing I like about the light is the clip. It has soft grippers that hold on really well but won't easily damage what they're attached to. Well designed, light weight and bright enough for late night reading.I've since used the light to further illuminate my stitching.
