Im going to get to the skinny of it right away. Bought this for my wifes nook. Came in a plain white box with nothing else. Didnt include any instructions or even a simple drawing on how to turn it on. Not that I needed them but I wanted to point out how cheap these are from beginning to end. Right away we installed three brand new name brand batteries and it worked fine for about 30min. My wife went to turn it off and it wouldnt turn off. It just kept switching from one light to two lights. We finally had to pull the batteries to get it to power off. We then switched out the new batteries with three more new batteries. Now we could only get it to turn one light on. Pulled the batteries again and put them back in. It worked this time the way it was supposed to. My wife shut it off and put it on her night stand. About three min later it turned on by itself. Now she thought maybe she didnt have it turned off all the way or she may have accidentally turned it on. She shut it off and put it under her night stand. Well at about 1am when I was making the midnight run to the bathroom I noticed a glow coming from her side of the room. I went to her side and notice the book light was on! I shut it off thinking maybe she turned it on and fell asleep. Well in the am my wife woke up to find her light on again though alot dimmer as it had been draining the batteries all night. I told her to pull the batteries and we would spend the money to get something that was built with some quality. I would NEVER recommend this to anybody EVER. Stay away from it. I emailed the company I bought it through and have heard nothing back. Even the companies that sell this wont stand behind it, that should tell you alot.
